I'm thinking of purchasing the dell e1505 and is this good settings? I'm going to be using it for web browsing, image editing (with fireworks), Gaming (The sims 2, Age of empires 3), areo vista in future, and the media centre features.

    Intel® Core™ Duo processor T2600 (2MB Cache/2.16GHz/667MHz FSB)

Genuine Windows® XP Media Center Edition 2005 (& backup cd)
15.4 inch UltraSharp™ Wide Screen SXGA+ Display with TrueLife

1GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz, 2 Dimm

    120GB 7200rpm SATA Hard Drive

    8x CD/DVD Burner (DVD+/-RW)

    256MB NVIDIA® GeForce™Go 7300 TurboCache

85 WHr 9-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery

    Intel PRO/Wireless 3945 802.11a/g Mini Card (54Mbps)

    ------------
    things I might get with e1505 :

    D-Link DI-524 Wireless G Router
    TV Tuner w/ Remote Control
Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse with Scroll

    Should I improve something?

Looks like very high specifications for an E1505. What is your budget? Consider completing the FAQ in the What to Buy forum. If you are looking at specs like that, there's a good chance you can get a better notebook than a Dell.

get the x1400 rather than the 7300 go.

I looked at the dell website...i dont see 120 gb at 7200 rpm or the 2.1 ghz duo...

Definitely get the x1400. It's cheaper and better. Dell's just pulling one over by making the 7300 more expensive and making it seem better.
