I recently got a new e1505 two days ago. I haven't been able to use it much until today, and while I was using it for several hours or so, my laptop began to make a light "pop" sound. It made the sound from time to time when the little battery icon (right next to the icon that indicates if the laptop is on or not) blinked. Is this normal? I got startled, thinking my laptop would explode all over me, so I turned it off. My laptop did this while it was both hooked up to my AC adaptor and while it was just using its own battery. Is there something wrong with my laptop? Thanks in advance for any answers I might receive.

Dont go through tech support. Go directly to customer service and ask for a replacement
