    I I purchased a Latitude d510 a couple months ago. $400 (sold it though)

I purchased a Latitude d610 a couple months ago. Great upgrades on it.... $450

    Today I purchased a 2month old Latitude d620 (awesome upgrades) $650

Gotta love rich people who get bored or given laptops via work.

I normal buy and sell, but there's something about the D6x series... I just cannot sell them. They are such good laptops and I just dont want to sell to make money. Any D series will make money at what I purchased like the D510.... but the D6xx, I just dont want to let go.

If you can get your hands on a nice D820 (WUXGA if you can) you'll love it! they are awesome machines and super fast with a T2600, 7200RPM HD, a NVS 120M and 667MHz RAM (2GB if you can :))

You can make easy upgrades to the RAM and HD aftermarket, so I wouldn't worry about those - look out for notebooks that have features that can't be changed easily, such as a faster CPU, higher screen resolution, better GPU, etc.

Ill keep on the look out for one =)

The D620 I got came with T2300, 2GB ram and a 80GB drive, dunno know the RPM on it though.

not suped up like yours, but still plenty spiffy. The ownership transfer just finished today on the d620, so i am extremely giddy now =).

The d620 does look a TON better then the d610, but I gave my little sister the d610 for college so she can beat the snot out of it communiting back and forth via train.
