So, I absolutely adore my new Inspirion 1521, but I ended up with the base 1390 wireless card, which I thought would be perfectly fine, as I don't it need for gaming or long-range access. However, it is now doing the strangest thing...I have no problems connecting to even the lowest-strength networks, but only as long as they are broadcasting in both g and b frequencies. The card refuses to connect to networks which are b only.

Does anyone know if there is some setting in Vista which could cause this, or is the card itself? Will I have to get another card installed if I want to connect to b-only networks, as well? Thanks!
