I recently got a studio 1749 and have been pleasantly surprised with it. however i do have one issue.
I am connecting it to a Samsung B2430H 24" monitor for watching stuff, and playing games.
When i connect via VGA everything is fine. Proper colors etc.
However when i use the HDMI cable to connect to the monitor, the graphics are extremely poor, and bitty. I am using a feault Win7 theme, and instead of the bottom being blacky/grey at the end its a pale blue/grey. The picel and color quality seem to be very poor.
This is my first time using HDMI to connect a laptop, so i reckon im probably not configuring it right, but any options i seem to change in CCC (it has a Radeon 5650) doesnt seem to improve the output.
Im just wondering if anyone has any pointers to get this fixed?

Tsunade_Hime such bacon. wow
Have you tried reinstalling CCC?
-
Nope will give it a lash when i get home later.
First time using a laptop with HDMI, so was at a loss on what to do. Thanks for the pointer. -
Eventually got around to doing this. No change.
I uninstalled the Driver and CC, and reinstalled. No difference.
However what i did notice was
HDMI only plugged in. Crap resolution on monitor, grainy, ugly, Black bar (default win7 theme) down the end is light grey.
HDMI & VGA plugged in, with HDMI active. Resolution seems perfect.
Now my problem here is i dont have a second cable or a second device to output it too at the moment.
Is there anything else i can do?
