    3 weeks... Sure hope mine gets shipped out in less than the five week estimated delivery date. *shudders at the thought of receiving a laptop in five weeks*

    I typed 206 instead of 260 for the first digits of my order number... then I logged on to Dells site to see if it had tracking info, and that is when I realized what I did.

    I am calling again in the morning. And the next day. And the day after that. I might even call after I get the notebook. By then it will just be part of life.

    All I really said is how pathetic this is that they don't care about their customers and how I never had problems like this when I bought their computers straight through a retailer (Best Buy).

    Just odd that I ordered mine after you and they still haven't sent your at least. :( Plus I noticed other posts that people bought theirs through a referal department or something and they ordered way after all of us and theirs are already shipped. :mad: Damn you Dell.

    I am in a 'dell chat' now and he told me the rep I spoke to this morning was making up the thing about expiditing my order. They don't do that. So I am going off on them calling them liars, and trying to get that reps name so I can call back in the morning and personally call him out.

    If they did that, i'd quit my job to persue them in court. I'd spend 24 hours a day calling. I'd go to Michael Dells house and ask him whats up.

    I am just nagging, asking anything and everything. I want copies of all notes on my account, service tags for a system havnt got yet. I am arguing with them about how they mess everything up.

    Sounds like you're just looking for reasons to be upset. Just keep calm, it'll be shipped eventually. Spending hours bugging the service representatives isn't going to get it to you any faster.

    Better then calling the automated line 4 million times a day. Right?

    I was calm. For three weeks. I emailed a few times, did a couple dell chats...just to see if I could find out what was causing delays.

    Today was the first time I called and talked to a real person. What pissed me off and upset me is that they lie to me. I am a straight forward person. I don't want to be BS'd or lied to.

    It'll be ok. Its just a computer. I just hate having to wait for new toys...

    My main computer at home is an old XP2000+ system I built 5+ years ago. My wife has a decent system...but I don't like using her computer. This is a main reason why I want my notebook..

    Email and Dell Chat reps don't have a problem telling me they don't have any info...and thats that. I am not mad. But then they lie to get me off the phone..WTF?

    All I am going to say is finally it shipped.

    Checked automated phone status just now and is 'in the carriers hands'. Just waiting on a tracking number so I can ***** about the long 3-5 day shipping. =P
