I placed an order for the Dell Studio 17 with the upgraded 1080P resolution. When I was emailed the order details it showed the screen as a "17.3 inch HD+ (900p) Bright LED Display with TrueLife and Camera". I called with a concern that they ordered the wrong screen seeing that it says "900p). The Dell sales person went to ask someone and assured me that eventhough it says that on the spec sheet, it is the 1080P screen. I"m not feeling very assured and we'll find out but for those of you that got this screen do you recall what the ITEM NUMBER was on your order for the 1080P screen? The item number is on your order form that lists the computer's specs.

    Thanks

The item number on my 1080p screen is 313-8043. Are these numbers the same worldwide? I'm in the United States.

Thanks for the info and I'm in the US as well. After several inquires to Dell and finally speaking to someone that undertands English, I found out that my item number 320-0828 is NOT the 1080P. In fact I was told that they are so backordered on the 1080P screen that they are not even offering that as an option. That's it for me and Dell. I was lied to by the sales agent who said she was ordering me the 1080P and the two Order Modification agents who swore that eventhough the description said "900P" that it was the 1080P.

I don't know how this company does business? My theory is that they care less about the average Joe as they have huge government contracts. No more for me!

    Sorry, but I'm venting.
