    I placed my order for a Dell Studio 15 from Dell's Japanese web site after my HP Dv2214us finally just gave up (Went through 2 motherboard replacemnts already.)

    My soon, hopefully, to arrive Studio 1537 has the ~

    I've been reading about all the issues with sound and touch pad performance, and media bar buttons. I'd like to report back on any of the issues that I see or don't see. After that I will be loading Windows 7 64bit.

    Right now it is still in transit since 2/16 :( with an ETA of 2/22 ... Hope to get to play with this before next week. :)

    **I saw the same popping audio on my HP with Windows 7s default audio driver. Never did get the Conexant HD Audio drivers to work in 7, but still a beta.
