I just received a Dell Studio 15, color green. I'm having an annoying problem, which is that the touchpad seems to have intermittent jerky response. A good way to check this is to make small, smooth circles with the cursor. At random times, the cursor will jump a large distance, say about 10 times the diameter of the circle I'm making. I cannot correlate it with anything I'm doing. I don't notice my finger jerking. My finger is moving very smoothly.

Anyone else notice this? I've tried changing a lot of the settings including the speed and touch sensitivity, with no basic change in behavior.

    Thanks,
    Mike
