This is not directly related to dell except that I want to buy a dell laptop, but since July 4th rests on a Wednesday this year, is it safe to say that deals would be either all throughout the week, this weekend, or next weekend?

and at certain times of the year they like to release more coupons. it's not like consumers are "exploiting" holidays for savings; its the companies that lower the prices after all. You might as well say the companies are being unpatriotic by releasing coupons to intentionally commercialize some holidays.
