Kind of a useless post, I know, but I'm excited.

    Specs:

T2500, 1GB 533 ram, 120GB hd, 7900GS, WUXGA+ (still not used to the resolutions being labelled with letters), intel 3945.

It'll being going with me to university for engineering in two weeks, if it arrives in time.

Sounds good, but I would recommend upgrading your RAM to 2 gigs if you plan on gaming on a regular basis. That can be easily done though. I am sure you will find the 7900GS a wonderful addition to any notebook.

I'm not really a gamer. Mainly got it so that I could run CAD, but also so I could run some games if I wanted to.

1GB should be fine for most tasks, 2GB isn't all that necessary right now unless you do extreme gaming or heavy photoshop/similar stuff.
Looks like a fast machine, congratulations.

Same with me Dude! I got the T2600 and just the WXGA, otherwise the same specs. I ordered it friday night but it's still "in production." My notebook skin came yesterday though! :p Is their a big difference between 1gb-2gb? It sucks cuz I got the 1gb but I assume they will be giving me 2 512mb sticks, so I have to get rid of those to get 2 gbs.

I'm sure 1GB will be more than enough. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Now is definately not a good time to get hooked on games, I start school in a week and a half.

I'm not really worried about the RAM, 1GB will be fine right now, but I'll be upping it to 2GB sometime next year.

This 9400 is a pretty big step up for me, I'm currently on a Dell desktop (4200 I think), with 512MB Ram, 1.7Ghz P4, nVidia 6200.

Ya, my desktop is a AMD Athlon XP 2800+, 512mb ram and a 9600XT.
