It looks like a great deal - especially with 2-Gb of RAM - my only concern would be the extent of the scratches and dents!! I really liked my e1505 & only sold it to buy its Santa Rosa replacement - maybe next month. I assume that WXGA+ is the glossy version?

Just as a side-note is you want to use virtual machine like VMWare you should get at least a T5600 to be able to have good performance (the 1.66GHz C2D does not have virtualization) - but if don't need that stuff, it's a very good rig. you can use the Graphical Power of X1400 to it's fullest extent using this GPU.So it's a very cost effective buy.Good Job!

Yes, it's the glossy version (True Life). What's the advantage of the Santa Rosa version coming out?

What is VMWare and what would I need it for?

I've never really done that before, nor do I know if I would ever need to. If one day I decided too though, would it be possible or just slower since it didn't have those enhancements?

It would be possible, just a hell of a lot slower.

My e1505 came in last Thursday and I'm more than happy. It took me about 2 days to find the scratches. There are some hairline scratches next the the touch-pad as if someone wore a watch and was typing on the keyboard. They can only be seen in bright light and at a certain angle. Other than that the laptop looks brand new!

The performance is great too. SuperPi @ 2M is 1m20s. I haven't really done any other benchmarks yet. Later this week I am going to reinstall Vista to remove the bloatware and delete the 10G backup partition. I'm glad I opted for 2GB RAM. Vista is very memory hungry in comparison to XP. Thanks for everyone's input!
