    Hi,

Like the title states, I just bought a latitude D820. I am wondering if there are any potential problems associated with that model.

Do the power cord plug ins wiggle and then break?

    Thanks!

I've had mine for about three months. I carry it with me daily. So far it seems as sturdy as when I bought it.

Dell's business notebooks are for the most part, built very well. I would only worry about backlight leakage and dead pixels.

    Thanks!

I ordered mine with 1GB 667 RAM, 1 DIMM. If I want to upgrade to 2GB RAM, is it easy? Is the stock RAM under the keyboard, and the other slot on the bottom of the machine?

If so, all I will have to do is put another 1GB on the bottom right?

It's easy. The stock RAM is under the keyboard. You will simply follow the directions found in the user guide.

If you have any doubts about the RAM you need use the tool here.
