    Hey,

I just got my 1420 (finally), and I want to do a clean installation of Windows Vista. I'm accustomed to formatting the entire hard drive and repartitioning as I please, but is it OK for me to erase Recovery Drive that Dell sets up? I plan on making my own Image file after I install Vista, but I'm worried that the Recovery Drive might serve some purpose I'm currently unaware of.

    Thanks for your help,

    Steve
