    Just Recieved my Jet Black 1420

    And I must say, it is absolutely phenomenal.

    I think I'll do quick review later with photos and such but here are some facts that I can assure you:

    1. The screen is NOT grainy. I have the WXGA+ screen and it is GORGEOUS.
    2. Yes, the battery wiggles a TINY bit. It only moves up and down. I inspected the battery and I can safely assure you that regardless of this tiny wobble, it will not affect power supply to the machine since the pins go deep into the laptop.
    3. Its quiet. That screeching whine of death does not exist on my PC, that some of you have been facing especially with the 1520.

    Asides from that I'm still doing the initial run so I'll get back to you guys later.

    This was all in all a very good investment.

    Nice... great to hear everything is good with your new lappy... my midnight blue should be here soon too, it had an estimate ship date of 8/21 but I received an email today saying that it shipped. So I'm guessing I'll get it Tuesday. Hope everything is cool with mines; no cracks, no graininess...etc. Pics please... even though I have different color, I still enjoy living vicariously through those that have it already... =-)

    Just to let you know, the 1520 is very different from the 1420 so expect some major differences when you receive yours...
