I just bought 2 gigs of ram off ebay for my Vostro 1500.
    Title says " 2GB DDR2 SODIMM RAM PC2-5300 (667 MHz) NEW "
It has 1 day left and my current bid is $51 with a max bid of $60. I should win it right?
Also will this ram fit in my Vostro 1500?
    Thanks

Personally, I wouldn't use anything other than crucial RAM or another well known brand.

i definitively wouldn't get those. there are lots of cheaper ram that have weird non standard cas latencies that cause many problems with most laptops. Stick with corsair or crucial or kingston. they are usually the best value for the dollar, and they offer life time warranties and actually stick behind them. You can pick up a 2gb pair like that of these brands from a site such as newegg for only about 15 more and i think it is really worth it.

Look at the options on this page: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...309121117+1309221136&name=DDR2+667+(PC2+5300)

You want one of these. Memory comes standard with a lifetime warranty and you should not expect less.

I just got the GSkill memory for my new Inspiron 1520 (the same machine as your Vostro 1500). It comes in a funky looking box, but it's good quality and works fine. See the reviews on Newegg.
