Dell's Vista upgrade site is open. My total was $10.88 and it says it won't ship before Feb 2007.

No luck with my M1210 Refurb. I had read on the forums that they would be eligible. What gives?

The server must be having some problems, I keep getting a server error: "Bad Data." Will try again later. No worries as I have until March.

Isn't dell supposed to pay for the shipping of the software? Or do they just pay for part of it?

From what I understand, it was up to the various manufacturers to decide the details about the upgrade program. HP isn't charging customers for shipping. At $10, I don't think Dell is paying for any of it. It only costs a couple of bucks to mail a DVD...

Is the Vista disc upgrade only? Or does the disc allow you to reinstall the OS? I am reading dell's vista upgrade site and they keep on mentioning upgrade only.

The site does not include a Canadian option and it is not secure for Credit Card info ... I think I may just call Dell directly ... :?

Here at Malaysia it cost us RM95 or $25, delivery free. I think it's too much.
