Well i just got my 1420 replacement because my original screen looked really bad... now it has definetly improved so i'm happy.

My original laptop has 2GB Samsung memory, and the replacement has 2 GB Hyundai memory. Everest shows Hynix as the manufacturer of this Hyundai sticks...

So, the thing is, which brand is better? Cause if samsung is better i would change the sticks around and return my old 1420 with the hyundai ones...

Do you guys know which memory brand turns out to be better??

    Thanks

I wasn't even aware Hyundai made memory. To be honest, i doubt they'd be much difference between the two.

Samsung. All the way... Hyundai is just not one of the companies who are up to Korea's Highest Standards, And Samsung is.

Memory brand won’t make any difference (unless their specifications differ, i.e. latency, and speed). most likely they both have same specs.

Oops, I missed the part that Hynix manufactured it. Samsung and Hynix are one of the two best and biggest semiconductor related appliances in the world... So brand name should be fine either way.

Go with the cheapest, I guess
