    Just got Expedited Service...but Billing and Shipping Address changed to N/A

    Is this going to be a problem? Im waiting on queue for CS to discuss this issue, has anyone else gotten this problem and received their laptop?

    i was supposed to be expedited a while ago but today when I checked I too had the N/A for billing & shipping addresses. I'm not sure if it's related to the expedited status. To be safe, I called in to check if they had my information and they did. The rep said something about server maintenance...I'm not sure if that's the case, but it might be. As long as they have my information on record on their computers, I'm okay.

    Expedited Service will not get your laptop to you any faster and you are only waisting your time on phone

    not true. i called to argue against the long wait I have had for my 1520 and they offered free next day and expedited themselves. I still got the overnight delivery so I don't feel like I wasted anything.

    I got overnight too. Even though I may not get it the next day, it still would get to you faster than 3-5 day shipping.

    My laptops always come next day even if its ground. Is it really worth it talking on the phone for an hour ? I don't think so !

    ANSWER

    This will happen unless you log into an account that the order is registered with. If you did not sign up for an account when you ordered, then it will not work. For instance, I did not sign up for an account, but I linked my order with my mom's account. Now, it still says N/A, but when I log into my mom's account, it has the full details. N/A does not mean they do not have your information. They are just not authorized to show it to you, just so that they are not giving away information to random people who can guess your order #.

    Get it?

    i dont get it. i signed up for an account AND logged in, but it still says N/A for shipping and billing

    You have to manually link your order to your account. It is somewhere in the account settings. Let me finish my ice cream sandwich and I'll find it. It's too hard to type one-handed.

    Okay, I forgot what I changed my password to, and I tried 6 times, which locked my account for 23 hours! :( Sorry..

    Could anyone else check? I know it isn't too hard to find, it's on the account settings page, and it is something like "My Orders". You link it there.

    well okay.. i tried to add my customer number because it says that there was none added to that account.. but.. then i get the error saying, "Only Home & Home Office, Small Business, Dell Refurbished and Dell Outlet customer numbers can be added using this feature. This customer number has not been added to your account."

    meh whatever, i just called and csr said that it's fine and i will still get my product delivered to my home. so yea.. >.>. haha other news .. he said that every item needed for my notebook is ready .. but im still in the early production stage... -__-"

    It's fine.. I hope. :p because I called them earlier today and the rep told me that there was a server problem or whatever.. but I doubt it because my billing and shipping to thing has been N/A since I ordered. The rep did tell me the correct shipping address w/o me having to tell him, so I'm guessing it's okay.

    Here Is A Good Example Of Dells Expidite Service!!!

    I Was Assured That My Rep Was Going To Handle This Personally And Call Me Today On 8/2 With A Follow Up So He Says.....

    Yup...expidite.....ok.....i Woke Up This Morning To My Delivery Date Now Being 8/28!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8 Weeks To Get A Computer??????

    So....bye Bye To Dell, Cancelling My Order After A Long Wait Already And Going To Go Buy An Hp.

    That is absolutely pathetic that you have to wait a month and half for your laptop. If I were you, I would do the same thing. Cancel from Dell and bring your hard earned money to someone else.
