Hi just got my Latitude d820...went to check out if everything is legit.

I bought a duo 2 core, when I go to system to check it out if its right it says "Intel (r) Core (2) 2."

Is this right? Does this mean its duo core 2? Its also 966Mhz which is good I"m guessing....how do I find out the "cache" though? Everything else seems to be right....screen sucks though! Doesn't even look widescreen but I compare it to my compaq v2000 screen and it is widescreen. Doesn't look it though...odd.

    Thanks!

Try downloading CPU-Z. It will tell you what you've got under the palmrests.

    You can DL it here.

That's how windows displays dual cores which as far as I can tell it gets the CPU id string from the hardware. Geez you get 24 reads and no reply because it's not really needing an answer.
