    Congratulations!

I purchased a nearly identical notebook back a couple of months ago. Supposedly Dell's 4 year warranty is great. The bigger battery is great.

The only way to really get rid of all the bloatware is to reformat the drive, but you lose the media direct functionality if you do this without taking the proper precautions.

    Hope you enjoy your machine.

have you gone into the registry and deleted all of your useless start-up items? also, a boot defrag (defrag -b) might help a little.

Check all programs that are initialized at startup and keep only the ones you need.

How does one go about determining which items are useless?
