Just got my Inspiron 1520 10 minutes ago

Everything seems right, i dont know if this is grainy screen or not, doesnt look like it.

Well i have a silly question

Theres a charger and then theres a wire that you connect with the charger and then plug that wire inside the plug

Well the wire is not going into the charger properly.

How can i put it in properly?

    (I didnt read the docs)

    Thanks!

    push harder

    :D

it takes some force, and also make sure you've got it lined up right. look at the power adapter, there are two notches, on top and on bottom next to the recessed two prong AC power plug. Dell cables have that funny L shape, the protuding part of the L goes on top with the side with the indicator light.

i would check for any problems in the computer internally/externally.if there is a problem internally, dont do anything.call up dell and tell them.if they heard that you reinstalled, they might not accept it back due to the fact that you might have messed something up on it, and re install vista to cover it up, and then complain to dell about it.they know you didnt format it due to all the bloatware

lol i heard that dell intentionally makes the chargers like that (mine is sticking out a bit too) so if you push harder you're probably going to ruin it
