Just got myself a $139 Dell Mini 9!!! Cheehoo!! :D

Since i love my Dell XPS M1530 so much i decided to get one for my friend as a gift, and i figured that i will buy myself a Dell Mini 9, and Dell is having a promotion where if you buy a regular XPS M1530 or Studio, you can get a Dell Mini 9 for $99 with Linux or $139 with Windows XP, so i got the $139 Dell Mini 9 with XP and i upgraded the webcam to 1.3MP for $25 and it came out to be $164 total for my Dell Mini 9, WHAT A DEAL!!!

And the XPS is the same configuration as the one i have in my sig, except that this one i just ordered have a 320GB Hard drive and a 2 year warranty with complete care.

Im STOKED about my MINI 9!!!

The ESD is actually on he 22nd of December, and for the XPS, it is on the 18th of December..

I just realized that i could have gotten her a studio 15 with a Montevina chip and just better in general laptop for about $200 less.. CRAP

Haha! Well, I did tear it apart about an hour later..I was exhausted from shoveling outdoors for 2 hours.

So, I had to warm up and get focused again, on the important matter at hand...my I9

Hey you got a red XPS and now a red Mini 9, just like me! I have a black XPS and now i have a black Mini 9!

Oh yeah Dell delayed the shipment on the XPS, suppose to be shipped on the 18th but got delayed until the 26th, but then today i checked it, and it saids the XPS is shipped too! So only got delayed for 2 days

And im so glad because it is her christmas present and it will arrive on the 24th

Everything works out so good hahaha, im so stoked!

The I9 is tiny, but oh-so-cute, and so portable...things I like very much about it!

The first sleeve you have for $3.96, I have and it fits my mini perfectly!!!

Hmm i want to upgrade the RAM in my I9, i took out (2) 1-Gig RAM out of my XPS when i upgraded it from 2GB to 4GB, my question is will the 1GB RAM work in the I9?

I'm going to buy a 2GB for my I9, i just don't know which one works.. the 533Mhz or the 667?

 

Alright i just put the 1GB that came out of my XPS into my mini 9, and took the 512MB ram out of the mini 9, and the result is that it works!!

My mini 9 now has 1GB RAM, it is WAY faster now
