i guess it depends on what you plan on using it for.

I dont have mine yet, but that seems like a pretty solid all around system.

I order my e1505 and it is currently in the boxing stage. Mines nearly the same except i am using the onboard graphics since i heard it improves battery life a litte bit and im will not be a gamer on my laptop, thats where my desktop comes in play
I also saved over 75 dollars, by letting dell ship my e1505 with the default 512mb of ram and let newegg deliver my me a 512mb ram chip(it was only 35 dollars from newegg compare to paying 100 dollars for dell

Thats what I was going to do (get a 512 stick from newegg because $100 it is crazy) until i saw the config and e-value code in a dell circular. Everything on there was included for $749 except for the screen and X1400. Now I wait for the UPS(they use UPS right?) guy :(

Aberdeen5: Was there an e-value code on that e1505 system priced with the $429 off? If there was and you still have it could you print it out on your next reply? Thanks!

They use UPS for laptops, DHL for their accesories and thing. I know, I just got my laptop through UPS, but the surge protector I ordered came from DHL.

I reordered last night so it'll be a while before I have it. Sorry to hear that about yours, though. Im a little nervous that I won't like the resolution on mine or the screen will be defective...at least Dell gives us 21 days to send it back.

I was hoping maybe to just get the screen replaced. I wonder if they do that.
