Also, when do you think Canadian site will have all of these options too. Right now it doesn't have the 4965 N wireless and the extra cpu options.

 

Great notebook. I am truelly jaleous. And the 160 GB 7200 rpm is a true beast, it should perform great.

Was through EPP(Employee Purchase Program). Currently you can't pick your color if you go directly through EPP website, but if you call it seems they can help you change it.

 

Actually, I determined that you can pick your color through EPP, but you have to avoid the Dell Select Care packages (whatever they are called). You can add in those items after you select your color and still get credit for the increased discount.

EDIT: I just check again and it looks like the EPP site has been completely fixed, finally. You can select any of the packages and still get to choose your color.

I don't know about Dell in the US, but here in Brazil the prices are a little bit cheaper if we order by phone than on site.

The extra CPU options are on the Canadian site if you take the following approach: Home & Home Office -> XPS -> XPS M1330 -> Products Tab -> More Details Button -> Select the config on the right. The 2.4GHz isn't there, but the rest of the options are there. They fixed the free LED screen as well, and they have a Dell Wireless N card instead of the Intel...

 

I got mine with the 10% discount AND a $250 discount and its still way more. Only differences are:

You sure they gave you that $250 discount? that's exactly what you are missing.

On EPP with a decent protection package you get 12% then 7 or 10% more for the protection package.
Guess maybe it depends on how they packaged yours.

His price was $1,963.00 before tax, which is $361 difference, instead of $255.

 

WOW...so whoever ordered while LED was free, got it for no additional price?
After recofiguring it today, EVERYTHING is the same that i configured except the 2.0 to 2.2. The price I ended up with last night was $1749 whereas now its $2099.99. This is absoultely nonsense. Would Dell negotiate something if I called them. I would have ordered yesterday but I just have to return my MBP first.

 

I just got my 1330 Ordered. I stayed with the base ram and HD as will order them through newegg. Cheaper plus it will be even cheaper when I ebay the old ram and HD.

 

Can someone please respond to my comment. I am very shocked and re thinking about the prices.
