In the future I plan to install Vista x64 and swamp out the 2GB RAM for 4GB and also install Mac OSX Leopard as well;
Just wondering if there have been any issues concerning that sort of setup with this hardware, and to members with recent orders and similar setups-- am I looking at any delays dealing with Dell, since this is my first time trying them out...
In the past I have used Alienware and HP; hopefully Dell will be a good experience![]()

well dell is not a Super expensive gaming brand like alienware, but the XPS has a pretty solid build to it. Unlike the crappy inspirons the xps has better customer service and better video card
good luck and enjoy! -
inspirons aren't crappy

Pretty close to what i have except i have the LED and you have the FULL Hi Definition, and i have a 250GB Hard drive and you have a 160GB.. I also have a Intel wireless-N and you have the 1395 802.11g, you have a 9 cell and i have a 6 cell.. I think the 9 cell is a little too big and sticked out..
And finally, i paid only $1283.48 for mine brand new shipped next day air.. -

That means my 3 year old HP laptop shoulda been in the trash 2 years ago
