    Just ordered my XPS M170 for $1566

    Yesterday I went and orderd an XPS m170 for $1566, $1703 after tax here in CA.

    Specs are,
    PentM 760
    WinXP MCE
    1gig ram
    7800gtx
    60gig 7200rpm
    CDRW/DVD combo and 1 year warrenty.
    as well as the free mp3 player thing and free shipping.

    I did the high savings link on dells site and took a bunch of stuff off to lower the price and on top of that I got 5% off for going down to the Dell Direct store ( deal ends 5th ).

    I saw this deal and couldint pass up. Should I have waited? Are they going to go any cheaper anytime soon or was this really a good deal?

    What can I expect, how will cs:source and BF2 play? I got to check it out down there and this thing is huge lol its just too bad they did not have any games on it. Also does anyone know how it will compare to my desktop pc?

    x800xt pe
    winxp pro
    nothings oc'ed

    They are having a sale on the XPS models. I believe they should be announcing the new ones soon. (Hopefully)

    I want to see what the next gen has to offer. :)

    I used the $35 coupon from ebay on mine. It stacked with the $750 coupon I got from them for the e1705.
