u could have easily gotten a brand new for for ~ 1050 , before taxes, after the 25% off coupon.. u would of gotten the following specifications or something similar to that

    t8300
    1440 * 900 resolution screen
    8600 m GT
    2GB ram

There is no 8600 m GT option on the M1330, nor is there any resolution besides 1280 x 800. Perhaps you're thinking of the M1530?

I bought a 1330 not a 1530.....not to mention if I did buy an 1530 brand new, I'd also be waiting a month and a half

What kind of screen did you get? The standard or LED?

Standard. They had an LED for around the same price, but with a t7250 processor...smaller hard drive too i believe..no fingerprint...etc...too much gone to make it worth sacraficing for it

    You're going to love it!

Got mine about a month ago, and NOBODY could tell it was refurbished, unless they flipped it upside down and read the little sticker on the bottom! It is really perfect.

Also has been running great, no issues whatsoever. I'm thrilled with mine, and I'm sure you'll be thrilled as well. If not, you can always return it.

    Congrats!

Awesome! I can't wait.. I was a little disappointed last night because they said est. ship date was June 6th - but I just checked and these crazy people had it shipped first thing this morning - about 12 hours since time of purchase.

I was going to ask you as well, even though it is refurbished, do you still get the laptop case that people buying new get? What about the earbuds?

An update on my purchase - very fast shipping, I got it today. I ordered late Thursday night (was technically Friday - approx 1 am est), so it only took about 2 business days to get here. As far as the system goes, I would be absolutely SHOCKED if this machine had even been turned on before...it is in immaculate condition, it is basically brand new. It runs fast and I already added a 2 gig RAM stick which also came in the mail earlier today (what timing). It came with the laptop sleeve and the cd case as extras, but no ear buds.

i just got one yesterday from the outlet too. mine is pretty much exactly as u described. the vista OS was installed on 5/29 and i bought it on 5/30. i don't really know if that means the machine was just built new or whether they reformatted the hd.

refurbs are a good deal with Dell, I would recommend you to get the 2-3 year warranty, it keeps you covered and maintains the resell value quite well

I woulda got the LED, LED makes it SO MUCH thinner and lighter, uses less battery while is brighter.. Processor you could upgrade easily, and also RAM, but it is still a good deal, hey, a nice XPS under $1000 is a good deal lol..
