Ok, so I just received my Inspiron 1520 (actually received 2 weeks ago but opened the box today since I was out-of-town). Anyway, just wanted to say that it looks and works great. The screen is great and the processor is extremely fast. The keyboard is just great - one of the best I have typed on. I also like Vista contrary to some other people. The only 2 trivial issues I discovered (that too only because of reading this forum, otherwise I wouldn't have noticed them) are that there is some light leakage on the bottom og the screen (noticeable only when the screen is totally black i.e. at start-up). Also, the latch does not completely/tightly close the lid.

Anyway, so overall, I think this is a great machine.

NO!!! You're wrong. The screen is horribly grainy, the keyboard flexes like no other, and Vista suxxxxx. Plus they took too long to ship it to you, and the CSR called your mom a whore.

    /sarcasm

See, there's a reason I ended that with /sarcasm, even though I think it's very blatantly obvious without using that tag...
