    Hi guys,
Finally i have received my Studio1557 this morning. it came along with pre installed windows7 home premium 64bit. but i had Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit and as i like windows Vista more than Windows7, so i have just installed it. now i m updating service packs. i will install Windows7 as well. anyway, i want to share with u something that, once windows is booting, after the dell logo it takes 30seconds to show up the log in screen. it's unusual. why it's happening? is there any solution? plz help me. mine is core i7 processor. so i expect booting would b quicker.

Look in the BIOS and make sure quick boot is enabled.

Alright, i will have a look on that now. but one more thing i have just done updating windows up to Service pack2. now there r no more updates found. but i m surprised to see that vista (the operating system) took my 40GB HDD space. even after cleaning junk files and removing the tick from the windows restore option. how can i get my space back?

NB: QuickBoot is already enable by default.
