    I couldn't have been happier! Bought it brand new from another forum member, and I must have been really lucky. No issues at all; the keyboard is level throughout, the screen is absolutely gorgeous, and there is hinge gap! CPU whine can only be heard if I put my ear on the keyboard. One question though, is there something I can do so that I can get a visual confirmation when I change the volume? It did it the first time I turned the computer on, but ever since then I have no visual confirmation that the volume is changing...

    Congrats on the laptop! The on screen indicators are part of dell's quick set. Either reinstall that program, or check its settings.
