    ok I got XP running fine after changing to ATA mode in the bios and installing XP then manually installing the drivers.

    I have two questions though;

    How do I change back to AHCI from ATA and is it that important if everything is running smoothly?

    Also, in the device manager I have a few question marks on some devices. Does anyone know what I'm missing?

    Here's a screenshot

    Any help is greatly appreciated!
