I want to reformat soon, but I have a slow internet connection, and it would take forever to download all of the nessecary drivers. Is there a program that will get all of the drivers on my current configuration and allow me to extract them to a cd or usb thumbdrive? Thanks.

Also, would it be OK to put all of the drivers I need on a thumbdrive? Thanks.

Another thing, I have media direct 2.0 currently. After I got my laptop my dad got the same model laptop. He got a Media Direct 3.0 disc with his. Would this disc work with mine when I reformat? If I have everything right I would have to put the Media Direct 3.0 disc in before reformating, and the disc will then bring me into the reformating process? How does this work.
