darn... I have been getting this error message a LOT. This problem has been happening to be for the last year or so, but now its gotten to the point where it happens at least twice a day.......it seems like whenever i leave my comp. idle for more then an hour, this happens.........also, whenever this happens, when i try to reboot the computer (after seeing the blue screen) i get that message saying "no primary or bootable hard disk found", and literally have to turn the computer off and on about 3 or 4 times for it to finally recognize my hard drvie......

do u think thats the cause and it needs to be replaced?

umm did you ever try formatting? cuz hopefully its a software problem. if its a hardware then you have a troublesome problem.

sounds like the cache chips on your hard drive are bad, the hard drive will need to be replaced before it fails completely, alternatively you can try to turn off write caching for the hard drive in windows. controll pannel > system > perfomance> write caching

It sounds like your hard drive is going out on you. You should backup the data thats important and install a new drive.
