    Keyboard Question - Latitude D620

    I received my refurbished Latitude D620 last week and I just found something about my keyboard when I looked at it today.

    I took a picture below:

    Is this normal? I thought I shouldn't be able to see below my keyboard. :confused:

    Is this an issue that I should call Dell about? And does anyone have a clue what I'm looking at below the keyboard?

    Mine isn't like that. However, mine isn't a refurb. You can always request a new keyboard but they have to pick it up since the wrist pad has to be replaced also.

    it looks like you didn't get it pushed all the way in there. Take off the keyboard cover and remove the screws. Lift the keyboard to a 45 degree angle and push the keyboard in there a bit more.

    There really isn't anything wrong it from my opinion - just not in there tight and snug like it should be

    Like SG said, I dont' think there's anything actually wrong with the system or the keyboard. If you take it out and reseat it in there it should be fine. As long as it works perfectly I wouldn't worry about replacing it.
