I am wondering as to whether or not I can go through DELL themselves or some other 3rd party company for an entire keyboard replacement.
This medication I had to use for my skin as I have OCD left oil marks over time, and in turn, for having OCD, it drives me nuts to see them.

    I have a DELL E1705... just wondering.

Though it is not really a flaw, you can say that your keyboard is acting up and a button doesn't work and they should send you a keyboard. They are lenient on keyboards.

*edit* spills is not covered under warranty only complete care.

Yeah, you can call Dell's Tech Support for a new keyboard. They'll send it to you free of charge and within 2 days, but generally they only cover broken keyboards under regular warranty. Since the keyboards break so easily, they don't give you any hassle with replacing it.

If you have complete coverage, then the spill will be covered.
