I have a XPS M140, it is a little over a year old.
Lately when I am typing a email or in a forum when I hit enter and continue to type I notice the cursor jumped back and is typing somewhere I had previously typed.
It back jumps in my text. At other times it will delete a line.

Any ideas as to whats up?

Are you touching the touch pad with your palm accidentally? It sounds like you are. You can disable the touch pad while you type through the settings. Let us know if you need to know how.

Hmm it could be a possibility.
It is worth trying to disable it.
    Thank you.
I would appreciate you telling me how. I use a small mouse anyway.
