Gahh, alright, I have no idea what's going on. Every time I unplug my E1705 it IMMEDIATELY shuts down. The battery is fully charged, its not dead yet (I don't think, I was walking around for 2 and a half hours yesterday with it unplugged). Laptop runs completely normal when plugged in but once I take it off AC it will not turn on or anything. Anyone have any ideas? I'm getting frustrated...its almost time for a new laptop thank god.

batteries are not really covered in warranties if im not mistaken. but that might just be holding some charge, not completely dieing.

Yeah, this one is toast I think, in the bios it says its completely drained, and I've been plugged in for hours. I can't believe it...grrr...well I WAS trying to decide if I wanted to get a new laptop...so maybe this is my little "hint" to do it. I just do NOT feel like dumping 200 bucks into something that is already failing (the ram on the video card is starting to crap out, getting artifacts and such).
