    Hey,

    I ordered a 1520 on the 14th august, and the estimated delivery date is tomorrow, however on the dell website it is still listed as pre-production?

    Will the laptop still arrive tomorrow? or has something gone wrong?

    usually the web site indicates it's actual location
    though sometimes it's just a matter of complications with status updating.
    I'd call dell if I were you and see what they say about the situation just to be on the safe side.

    normaly if its on delivery you will get some type of tracking code , but somtimes they are reli slow at updating the status .... otherwise you may just get an e-mail from dell setting you back a couple of days/weeks ... depends , id call them

    So, i phone up dell and the automated service tells me my order is in pre production but is expected to arrive tomorrow...how does that possibly work?

    it is not going to arrive tomorrow... I went through all this Dell drama for 55 days.... tomorrow you will call and ask has your order been shipped. They are going to say that it is just an ESTIMATED Ship/Delivery Date and they will give u a new one... hopefully u do not get 6 different dates like I did..

    great i can't wait for that :| i will give them a call tonight and try to talk to a real person about it and see whats happening, on a side note could i be compensated for this delay?

    This is getting ridiculous, phoned them up and i have to wait even longer, guess it will come alot later than expected argh
