    Hi,

I just started to work at a Kiosk in a Mall in Canada for Dell. I was wondering if anyone had gone through a Kiosk to place thier orders? What was thier experience like? Do you prefer it instead of just ordering online? I would like to learn the mistakes of others to excel at my new position. So any feedback would be great. :)

Also, the days of deals are on right now here is a link: http://www1.ca.dell.com/content/topics/segtopic.aspx/days_of_deals?c=ca&cs=CADHS1&l=en&s=dhs

If there is anything you had specifically to ask or if you wanted to place your order online, and wanted to see if there was a better deal, send me an email, I will do what I can to help you out. [email protected]

Wow, thanks tariwari for being so willing to help. My experience with the Dell kiosk reps is that I knew more information than they did. So hopefully since you belong to this forum you will be pretty knowledgable. ;) Secondly I felt very pressured to buy when I made it clear that I was browsing, before I knew what was going on, the guy was already configuring a model for me. One good thing about the kiosk was they will often include the Dell Coupon codes for you.

Yeah it can sometimes be like that, I however, come from a customer service background, so I am not very good in the whole SALES aspect of it... Oh well, it's all about the customer experience, right?!

    Welcome.

Are you sure you want your email flooded. With the happy customers are the large group of vocal unhappy ones.

    Thanks for sharing/caring.

Hey and of course I am okay with sharing, because for every unhappy person, there are plenty of happy ones, not to mention, if I can find out what made that experience so bad, I can learn from that and ensure my customers are not going to receive the same treatment, you know what I mean?

I bought my laptop through a Kiosk and I was really happy because they said it would take 8 business days or less for shipping as opposed to 14 days had I ordered it online.
