I recently received my i8600 and checked to see if I had all my specs on my system. Everything seemed to be there although I am worried about my processor. I ordered a 725 1.6A Ghz. So, I used a program called Aida33 and as I looked at the CPU properties and it read as follows:

    CPU Type: Mobile unknown. 600Mhz (11.5 x 52)
    Original Clock: 1600 MHz
    L1 Code Cache: 32 KB
    L1 Data Cache: 32 KB
    L2 Cache: 0

Problems and Suggestions: No CPU L2 Cache found. This may cause performence penalty.

I used another program, Belarc Advisor, to test my spces also and came up with this info:

    Processor:
    1.60 gigahertz Intel Pentium M
    64 kilobyte primary memory cache
    2048 kilobyte secondary memory cache

So, I'm not sure what to think here. I probably don' understand what I'm talking about. Any help with this info would be apreciated. Thanks.

No, the problem isn't you, it's Aida. I too noticed this, and a few other things wrong with the Aida32 report. It seems to not be updated with the detection of Dothan chips. I downloaded SIS Sandra, and found no problems in that report.

Another program you may want to look at is called CPU-Z. This will give all the required info you'll ever need for your CPU , Cache, Mainboard & Memory. Works for both Intel & AMD CPU's.

I think Belarc Advisor might also work:
