    LCD problem

    Hi, I believe I've posted about this problem before...basically:

    what happens with my Inspiron 6000 is that whenever I move the LCD forward or backward, there is some kind of "static" that occurs on the lower-half of the LCD screen. Tapping the LCD makes the problem go away. Sometimes it's blue, sometimes it's grey. Here's a picture to explain...

    Please advise.

    I agree. If it only does it when you move the LCD, it probably means that something is about to break. I would also advise against moving your LCD too much until you get it fixed because the problem will likely become permanent

    Thanks for all of your responses. I contacted Dell Tech Support through email and am awaiting a response from them. I have another 64 days in my warranty so I think I'll be okay in terms of having them fix it.
