    Hi there
    I have a Inspiron 640m.
When the ac is plugged into the wall there is nothing wrong with my LCD screen but when I unplug it from the wall, the lcd starts to flicker on and off. By this i mean it constantly goes from black (off) and back to the screen (on mode)
Is there something wrong with my lcd or is there like a driver or something that I need to download?

I'd guess that your battery is dying.
