Hi....I'm a new poster here but I've been here for a while trying to decide which notebook would fit my needs. I usually use my computers for gaming but I wanted portability also. Thanks to all the people on these forums I decided on the Dell 1705 which I have not been dissappointed in yet. I especially like the 17 inch screen and yet its not too big or heavy for me to lug around. Got it from Dell in 6 days which was a bonus since I was expecting at least two weeks. Anyway...to get to my questions, I did a search but could not find what kind of symbol is next to the WIFI led above my keyboard. I would assume this may be a bluetooth symbol? Could anyone confirm this? And also, what are my best and cheapest options for being able to run and/or charge my notebook through the cigarette lighter in my vehicle? Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for the help..

    Mike

If the light is on the left side of the wifi light, then it is the scroll lock (FN + num lk) you might have to have quickset for it to work. If it is to the right, then it is the bluetooth light.

To charge your laptop, I would go with an adapter offered by Kensington or Targus. Usually they are a good company and willl be fairly cheap.

Are you familiar with the power inverters? And if you are how many watts would be necessary to charge my laptop?

    Thanks..
