I have a Dell Inspiron 9300 which has got vertical lines.

It came with a LG/Philips matte WXGA+ LCD panel.

After searching for a compatible candidate of replacement (mainly in this forum), I decided to order a new LCD panel (Samsung X4766 matte WXGA+).

I would like to know if I need to buy another inverter or I can use the same inverter which came with the old LG/Philips LCD panel.

Sorry for my bad english, I'm not a native english speaker.

Yes, the old inverter should work fine. Obviously no one can tell you for sure, and it's a risk you'll have to take - but from what I've read you should be okay. The inverter only has to power the panel's backlight so there's not a whole lot of difference between inverters for the same screen size.

He installs a toshiba panel using the inverter from a samsung display and it worked fine.

Let us know how it goes. :)
