    :confused: is anybody can explain how LCD go off when u close the lid?
    and if there is button, where this button is?

    Sometimes the button is in the hinge, and sometimes there is a magnet in the casing that flips when the screen comes close to it.

    I have always wondered the same thing about all the new dell laptop models that don't have a little button like they used to.

    I remember one day I was fiddling around with a magnet while using my computer. I set it down on the laptop, and then the computer went into stand-by. That is when I got the idea that maybe there was a magnet mechanism that told the computer when the lid was shut or not :rolleyes:

    right hing, on the left side, kindof in the middle. you have to take off the powerbutton cover thing
