Out of no where, my cursor has started to lag. For example, if I move it quickly around in a circle, it will move, pause for a second, then sort of appear where it would be had it not lagged. It does so on a very specific interval, like when spinning in a circle it will stop momentarily every 2 seconds. I've also noticed while playing a 3D game, the graphics will lag slightly every 2 seconds. I've done in-depth virus/spyware checks, defrag etc. It really just randomly started. It does it with my wireless mouse and the touchpad.
Help please!

Please help! It's bad. All music and videos choke up every second or so, on a very set interval. It's literally to the point where the system clock steadily falls behind because I guess the lagging makes the clock go slower. HELP!

This could be caused by too many applications running at the same time. You could try going into the Control Panel and looking for the mouse options and within the options changing the Cursor speed by making it the fastest possible. This might help improve the lag but may not completly get rid of it. I just can't think of a definate solution as i have never experienced this problem myself.
