some other things im curious about. Is it really possible to put that 6800 ultra PCI-E into a I9300? I'm buying one of these off ebay (with people with 100% feedback of course), but im new to the laptop scene.

    Welcome to our forums,

I'm not sure about the XPS Gen 2, but you can get the 9300 for alot cheaper and with the same specs at Dell. We have coupons that will reduce your price considerably, and right now we have one that is 750 off 1800 or more. Although, I wouldn't get RAM from Dell, you can get that cheaper from Newegg.

I don't think anyone has been able to verify that the 6800 ultra would fit. We discussed that on another thread, and it makes sense that it would, but nobody has tried it yet.

If you decide you want to buy one directly from dell with our coupons, we can help you if you have any problems with that.
