I have a E1505 and i downloaded the temperature measurment software i saw recommended here and i was just wondering what normal temperatures would be. the hd never seems to go more the about 43-45c and the cpu temp is between 43-55c at the very most the high end i mean, and i was just owndering when you should start worrying as far as temperature goes.

It would appear that they are perhaps designed to run a little bit hot but still just seems really high

What HD do you guys have? Which CPU? I have the T2400 CPU (1.83 GHZ) and the 80 GB 7200 RPM HD (Hitachi). Right now (after sitting basically idle on AC) the CPU temp is 39c and the HD is 48c... This is the reading from NHC.

Thats fine for the CPU, but that seems a little high for the HDD at idle. The laptop in my sig was usually about 44-46 at full load.

Earlier I encoded a DVD with FairUseWizard and the HD was ~51 to 53 each time I checked...
