I am having an issue with the 8 key on my Dell Inspiron 1525.

I recently had the entire keyboard replaced, or at least that's what Dell told me they did.

But the 8 key often needs to be pressed down HARD to work. I am leery about taking the keys off, as I did when I spilled coffee on my laptop (which caused it to need repair in the first place) and couldn't get them back on.

When I press the key down, it does not have the "click" heard on all others. The 8 key feels tight and almost as though it won't go down as far as the others.

Not having this problem on any other key. If I cannot fix this myself I will call Dell and have the laptop fixed for free...I just can't be without a computer for 2 weeks like last time.

    Thank you.
